Turkey imposed a 30% surcharge on some steel pipe imports

Turkey recently claimed that part of the import of steel pipe impose a 30% additional tariffs, the product code 730300100011, 730300100012, 730300900011, 730300900012 and 730300900019. But does not include steel imports from the EU as well as from countries with free trade agreements with Turkey.

In the January-November 2016 period, Turkey reported a 84% increase in steel imports to 30,600 tonnes, of which 78% were imported from only two countries, China and India. Therefore, China's steel exports to Turkey will be affected.
