Alloy tool steel: Cr12Standard: GB / T 1299-1985● Features and Scope:Is a widely used cold-working die steel, high strength, good hardenability and good wear resistance, but poor impact toughness.Mainly for small to withstand impact loads, requiring high wear of Die and punch, cold cut scissors, drill sleeve, gauge, wire drawing dies, pressure dies, thread rolling plate, draw dies and thread rolling die and so on.● Chemical Composition:Carbon C: 2.00 ~ 2.30Si Si: ≤ 0.40Manganese Mn: ≤ 0.40S S: ≤ 0.030P P: ≤ 0.030Chromium Cr: 11.50 ~ 13.00Ni-Ni: ≤ 0.25 to allow the residual contentCopper Cu: ≤ 0.30 to allow the residual contentCo Co: ≤ 1.00● Mechanical Properties:Hardness: Annealed, 269 ~ 217HB, indentation diameter 3.7 ~ 4.1mm; quenching, ≥ 60HRC● Heat treatment and microstructure specifications:Heat treatment specifications: 1) quenching, 950 ~ 1000 ℃ oil cooling; 2) quenched 980 ℃, oil-cooling, 180 ℃ tempered 2h.Microstructure: Tempered martensite + retained austenite, undissolved carbides.● Delivery status: Delivery of steel in annealed condition.
