Pakistan imposed anti-dumping duties on China

　　Pakistan's National Tariff Commission on January 19 claimed that since China and Ukraine imports of cold-rolled plates impose provisional anti-dumping duties, tax rate 13.17% -19.04% for a period of 5 years.
　　The products involved are 0.15-2.5mm thick, 600mm wide, and 7209.1690,7209.1790,7209.1890,7209.1610,7209.1710,7209.1810,7209.2690,7209.2790,7209.2890,7209.2610,7209.2710 and 7209.2810, but not including the import for the production of export products of cold volume. The anti-dumping duty rate of China Shougang Kaisi Steel Co., Ltd. and Shougang Jingtang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. was 19.04%, 16.27% of Beijing Shougang Cold Rolled Sheet Co., Ltd., 13.17% of Handan Iron & Steel Group and 19.04% of Maanshan Iron and Steel Company. 18.36% of the Ukrainian Iliqi Steel Plant, 18.92% of the Zaporozhye Steel Plant, and 18.92% of the total. Thailand is no longer imposing a quota tax on imports of Japanese steel

(Thailand-Japan Economic Cooperation Partnership Agreement (JTEPA)) on January 1 this year, the Thai Foreign Trade Office in accordance with the provisions of the agreement, announced the abolition of imports from Japan (Japan-Thailand Economic Relations Partnership Agreement (JTEPA)) on January 1 this year, Steel and cast iron products. Turkey imposed a 30% surcharge on some steel pipe imports

Turkey recently claimed that part of the import of steel pipe impose a 30% additional tariffs, the product code 730300100011, 730300100012, 730300900011, 730300900012 and 730300900019. But does not include steel imports from the EU as well as from countries with free trade agreements with Turkey.

In the January-November 2016 period, Turkey reported a 84% increase in steel imports to 30,600 tonnes, of which 78% were imported from only two countries, China and India. Therefore, China's steel exports to Turkey will be affected.

What is Pressure Vessel Steel Plate?

Pressure vessel steel plate covers a range of steel grades that are designed for use in pressure vessel, boilers, heat exchangers and any other vessel that contains a gas or liquid at high pressures. Familiar examples include gas cylinders for cooking and for welding, oxygen cylinders for diving and many of the large metallic tanks that you see in an oil refinery or chemical plant. There is a huge range of different chemicals and liquid that that stored and processed under pressure. These range from relatively benign substances such as milk and palm oil to crude oil and natural gas and their distillates to highly lethal acids and chemicals such as methyl isocyanate. So of these processes need the gas or liquid to be very hot, whilst others contain it at very low temperatures. As a result there is a wide variety of different pressure vessel steel grades that meet the different use cases.

　　In general these can be divided into three groups. There is a group of carbon steel pressure vessel grades. These are standard steels and can cope with many applications where there is low corrosion and low heat. As heat and corrosion have more effect on the steel plates chromium, molybdenum and nickel are added to provide additional resistance. The plates are collectively known as Chrome Moly steel plates. Finally as the % of chromium, nickel and molybdenum increase you have highly resistant stainless steel plates that are used in critical applications and where oxide contamination needs to be avoided – such in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

　　The manufacture of pressure vessels is tightly regulated as a result of the risks involved and as a consequence the materials that can be used in vessels is also tightly specified. The most common specifications for pressure vessel steels are the EN10028 standards – which are European in origin – and the the ASME/ASTM standards which are from the US.

　　S355J2+N Characteristic

　　S355J2+N is welder-friendly, low carbon, high tensile strength structural steel, can be readily welded to other weldable steel. For its low carbon equivalent, it possesses good cold-forming properties. The plate is produced by fully killed steel process and supplied in a normalized or controlled rolling condition.

　　S355J2+N Application
